Rhythmax Records an independent Reggae music record label specializing in Roots and Lovers Rock was founded by Douglas McLeary in 2000 in South Florida.  Doug the C.E.O, Producer, Artist and Musician stands at the helm of this organization and personally ensures that music produced on this label is of the highest caliber in musicality and content.

Rhythmax Records has produced music with Levi, Jules, Doug E. Mack, and Rohan Clarke as well as tracks with other unsigned artists.  Rhythmax Records lives up to its mission statement of “Out of one, many”, in that it embraces several genres of music  -- Reggae, R & B, Pop, Gospel, Hip Hop and a fusion of these genres.  

Currently, the label is putting the finishing touches on Jules’s debut album project, which will include a blend of Lovers Rock, R& B and Soul.  An accompanying video for the first single off the album “Power of Love” is also under production.  Rohan Clarke’s sophomore Gospel album project and is also a focus and is likely to hit the streets by the end of the year.  Levi, a Roots singer on the label is set to have a single to be released shortly.

In the words of the founder and C.E.O., Douglas McLeary, Our music genre spans from classical to gospel, hip hop, to Reggae, and even blending all of these genres called fusion, because out of one, many music.  The music showcases the company and the artists – maximum sound, maximum results.

The CD album “The Voyage”, released by Rhythmax Records in 2008 featured works by Doug E. Mack.  A fourteen track CD indicating a journey through the black psyche – from mental slavery, liberation, love, humor, relationships and triumph over adversity. Doug utilizes a mix of laid back and up-tempo rhythms that will soothe and thrill the soul.  The lyrics are heartfelt and positive and are indicative of having come from a journey of life experiences and growth.

Doug’s strong and thrilling voice delivers the tracks with vibrancy and measured control, which compliments the musical tracks resulting in a memorable listening experience.  “The Voyage” represents quiet relief from the chaotic everyday grind without compromising quality or musicality.

The release of “The Voyage” is a major accomplishment for Rhythmax Records. The addition of this masterpiece to the music arena articulates that Rhythmax Record has carved out its piece of musical real estate in the industry and threatens to be a formidable force with which to be reckoned.
